Smart feeding system

This Smart Feeding System is developed to meet the high demands of the snus industry. The system ensures high hygiene, easy cleaning and fast production changes without unnecessary downtime.

It is fully compatible with MERZ and other packaging machines and can be adapted to your specific production needs. The space-saving and ergonomic design makes it easy to operate and maintain, while maximizing uptime and keeping production flow stable.

Vibrating Screen

Viggo Hansen’s vibrating screen is designed to effectively separate lumps from free powder and ensure a uniform, high product quality.

The separated lumps are automatically transported over the end and collected in a container. From here, they can be easily passed through the screen again, reducing waste and creating a more sustainable and efficient process.

The sieve can be quickly and easily adjusted to precisely match your product and specific production requirements.

Lifting column - for loading

This lift is designed for efficient and safe filling of prefeeders. The lift is made of stainless steel and can be supplied in various applications to suit your specific needs.

It is designed to tilt both Vemag carts and plastic tubs into the feed hopper in an efficient and ergonomic way.

In addition, we offer both service and statutory inspections, so that your lift is always in optimal operating condition.

Vacuum pre-feeder

This pre-feeder is specifically designed to supply vacuum conveyors in an efficient and reliable manner. It is made of food-grade stainless steel and can therefore be integrated directly into your food production without additional adaptation.

The pre-feeder can also be used as a standalone unit and used directly into, for example, a MERZ packer – a flexible solution that can be adapted to your specific needs.

Screening system

Viggo Hansen’s screening system is designed to effectively handle free-flowing powder by preventing blockages and ensuring a smooth material flow, so that the powder is always ready for the next process.

The system is equipped with a hopper large enough to allow a fully loaded Vemag trolley to be emptied directly into the hopper, making it possible to run continuous production with minimal supervision.

This solution comes complete with lifting equipment, buffer hopper with dosing function and an integrated vibrating screen, ensuring stable and efficient operation.

Standard filling solution

Viggo Hansen A/S offers a standard filling solution, this machine is suitable for a 2-head MERZ packer.

The machine is made of high-quality food-grade stainless steel and optimized to fit perfectly with the MERZ packer.

For safe operation, the machine is equipped with both a robust polycarbonate safety cover and a stainless steel mesh cover, each of which can be opened individually. The mesh cover is also equipped with a safety switch that automatically stops both the agitator and the screw, ensuring both user safety and reliable operation.

CIP system

Pipe drying system

Viggo Hansen A/S has developed a unique and completely new tool for drying pipes, specifically designed to dry pipe systems after the CIP process.

As snus powder is very sensitive to even small changes in humidity, it is crucial that vacuum tubes are completely dry before production is restarted. Our innovative solution not only ensures complete drying, but also significantly reduces drying time, resulting in a more stable, efficient and reliable production process.

In addition, the tool operates quietly, creating a more comfortable and safe working environment for employees.

Filter drying system

Viggo Hansen A/S has developed a specially designed drying cabinet for filters from vacuum conveyors. The cabinet operates in a humidity-controlled and closed environment, ensuring that the filters dry quickly, accurately and reliably without the risk of moisture exposure.

Traditional methods, such as hanging filters to dry on racks, often result in long drying times and the need for multiple sets of filters. With our cabinet, drying times are minimized while production can continue with high quality and stability.

Vacuum pipe string

Vacuum conveyor technology allows the pre-feeder filling point to be located further away from the packaging line, providing greater flexibility in production layout.

At Viggo Hansen A/S we design and build complete pipe systems in food-grade stainless steel. All pipes and bends are manufactured with large radii so that the powder can be transported smoothly and uninterruptedly from the pre-feeder to the vacuum conveyor.

Our premium solution includes two tubes for each conveyor – one in operation and one for cleaning. This setup maximizes production time and ensures consistent and reliable performance.

Dust house

​To reduce dust dispersion during lifting operations, we have developed an efficient dust enclosure. This design makes it easy to drive both carts and pre-feeders in through the double gates at each end, ensuring a flexible and convenient workflow.

The dust house is prepared for ventilation and equipped with door switches, which guarantee safe and controlled operation. This not only contributes to a more efficient process, but also to a healthier indoor climate for employees.
